Reservation-Impaired

I lived in Las Vegas for a while, and I just moved back to Illinois in February. Ever since I came home, I've been dying to go back and visit my friends there. Yesterday, I tried to make travel reservations to do just that...

I went on www.travelocity.com, because that was where I found the best rate - which was still over $300!!! (Last minute plane reservations to Vegas are a bad idea.) SOOOO, I book my tickets and an hour later I get a call from travelocity's customer service telling me that there's a problem with my reservation... I booked my departure and return flight for the same day! Duh.

The guy on the phone was like "With these reservations, you'll only be in Vegas for 32 minutes."

I'm a jack-ass.

I need to re-book today and hope that the rates haven't gone up even more. Wish me luck...
