I've got a three day weekend coming up from December 14th through 16th. Where shall I go? I think I want to make this next one a solo trip... I could use a little "me time."
In other news, it was "Buy 10, Get 10 Free Books" at the local Thrift & Dollar on Friday. I had the day off and spent an hour or so picking out 20 "new to me" books. Some interesting ones I found are listed below:
This book is supposed to teach you how to make every driving experience peaceful and beneficial to your being. I'm really stoked about reading it.
The Best American Travel Writing 2005 by Jamaica Kincaid
Can't wait to delve into this one either! I hope it's inspirational.
I also got a book all about female business travel, but I can't remember the damn name! Poo. If I remember, I'll post it later.

I'm all about "me time." Will you fly, drive, or transit it? It might be nice to check out an industrial city like Detroit or Cincinnati, or something more Midwest and scenic like Madison.
I'm definitely going to drive. The open road relaxes me. =)
I think I'm going to try to stay out of an industrial town... although i love them, they're just not as fun in the winter.
